  This document offers suggestions for completing Unit 1, a required unit in the course.

• Unit 4 suggestions
  This document includes hints for unit 4 on mapping the moon and its phases for an entire month. This only takes a few minutes per night, but it does take an entire month to complete.

• Unit 5 corrections and modifications
  This document contains corrections and clarifications for Unit 5 on the motions of the planets.
  It is not a required unit. It does require a few minutes of nighttime observing spread on at least one night (with the modification) or several nights (without the modification).

• Unit 9 hints for gaining success. Since the department darkroom is now closed, this unit is only offered to those who have access to a negative darkroom (one in which you develop film to obtain negatives).
